Product Overview
This fully automatic machine is designed to convert nonwoven rolls into 5-30-piece wet wipe packs in a continuous production line. It combines nonwoven feeding, folding, moistening, cutting, counting, stacking, product transfer and flexible-film packaging, reducing the need for manual handling between wipe converting and final packing.
A double-head folding section processes two nonwoven webs and transfers the prepared wipes to the packaging section. Servo and variable-frequency control coordinate the folding and packaging movements, while photoelectric color-mark tracking supports accurate positioning of printed packaging film. The touch-screen interface allows operators to adjust operating settings and view fault information.
The center-sealing section forms the longitudinal seal, while a sponge air-exhaust structure helps remove trapped air before final sealing and cutting. This improves finished-pack flatness and reduces packaging wrinkles.
The machine is intended for manufacturers producing travel-size and small-count wet wipe packs for personal care, baby care, household cleaning, pet care and hospitality markets. Final suitability should be confirmed using the customer’s nonwoven material, liquid formula, sheet dimensions, pack quantity and packaging film.
Applications
This machine is suitable for producing small-count wet wipe packs made from foldable nonwoven material. It is intended for water-based or compatible liquid formulations and flexible heat-sealable packaging films. Production-date printing and package label punching can be included according to the selected machine configuration.
Working Principle
Two nonwoven rolls are installed on the double-head feeding section. The nonwoven webs are drawn into the folding units, folded to the required format, moistened with the selected liquid and cut by the cam-driven mechanism.
The prepared wipes are counted and stacked according to the selected pack quantity within the documented 5-30-piece range. Each stack is transferred along the conveyor to the packaging section.
Packaging film is unwound and guided through the photoelectric color-mark tracking system. The wipe stack enters the film, and the longitudinal center seal is formed. A sponge exhaust device then removes trapped air to improve package flatness. The transverse sealing and cutting section separates the continuous film into individual finished packs.
Where included in the selected configuration, label punching and production-date printing are completed before the finished products are discharged.
Process Flow:
Nonwoven Unwinding → Folding → Moistening → Cutting → Counting and Stacking → Product Transfer → Film Feeding → Center Sealing → Air Exhaust → End Sealing and Cutting → Discharge
Machine Details
1. Double-Head Nonwoven Feeding Units
Two independent feeding and folding stations unwind the nonwoven rolls and guide the material into the converting section for folding, moistening and cutting.
2. Nonwoven Folding System
The folding assemblies shape the continuous nonwoven webs into the required folded wipe format before the material enters the cutting and stacking stages.
3. Moistening System
The moistening section applies the selected liquid formulation to the folded nonwoven material. The liquid type and dosage should be confirmed through product testing.
4. Cam Cutting Unit
The cam-driven mechanism cuts the folded and moistened nonwoven material into individual wipe sheets according to the selected production settings.
5. Counting and Stacking System
The processed wipes are counted and arranged into multi-piece stacks before being transferred to the packaging section.
6. Product Transfer Conveyor
The transfer system carries the prepared wipe stacks from the converting section to the film packaging section while maintaining the required product orientation.
7. Film Unwinding and Tracking System
The film system unwinds the packaging material and uses photoelectric color-mark detection to coordinate printed-film positioning, bag length, sealing and cutting.
8. Center-Sealing Unit
The longitudinal sealing mechanism forms the center seal of the package as the packaging film wraps around the stacked wet wipes.
