Automatic Turntable Pallet Stretch Wrapping Machine

This automatic turntable pallet stretch wrapping machine secures palletized cartons, bags, containers, and other stable loads with pre-stretch film. After the pallet is positioned on the turntable, the load rotates while the film carriage travels vertically to create overlapping wrapping layers. Adjustable operating settings help warehouses and factories improve load stability, reduce manual film wrapping, and prepare palletized goods for storage or transportation.

Product Overview

This machine is suitable for stable goods arranged on pallets and capable of rotating safely on the turntable. Load dimensions, total weight, pallet condition, center of gravity, film type, and product stability should be evaluated before the machine configuration is confirmed.

This machine is suitable for:

  • Cartons stacked on pallets
  • Bagged food ingredients
  • Flour and starch bags
  • Animal-feed bags
  • Beverage cartons
  • Bottled-product cases
  • Canned-product cartons
  • Household chemical cartons
  • Paper and tissue products
  • Electronic-product cartons
  • Automotive parts
  • Hardware and industrial components
  • Plastic containers
  • Paint buckets and stable drum loads
  • Pharmaceutical and personal-care cartons

A wrapping test is recommended for unstable stacks, extremely lightweight loads, irregular products, sharp-edged packages, flexible bags, oversized pallets, or goods that may shift during turntable rotation.

Applications

1. Automatic Wrapping Cycle

After the pallet is positioned and the film is secured, the machine automatically controls turntable rotation and vertical film-carriage movement according to the selected wrapping program.

2. Heavy-Duty Turntable

The documented rotating platform supports palletized loads up to 2000 kg, making it suitable for many warehouse, production, and logistics applications.

3. Adjustable Wrapping Height

The film carriage can wrap palletized loads from 500 to 2000 mm high within the confirmed operating range.

4. Pre-Stretch Film Carriage

The roller-type film carriage stretches the film before it reaches the pallet, helping regulate film tension and reduce unnecessary film consumption.

5. Adjustable Turntable Speed

Turntable speed can be adjusted from 0 to 12 revolutions per minute to match different load weights, shapes, and stability requirements.

6. Programmable Control Panel

The control interface allows operators to adjust wrapping layers, turntable movement, carriage operation, film tension, and other available cycle settings.

7. Double-Chain Lifting System

The uploaded detail image shows a double-chain carriage-lifting structure designed to guide the film carriage vertically along the machine mast.

8. Reinforced Rotating Base

The thickened turntable frame and chain-driven structure support stable platform rotation while carrying palletized products during wrapping.

9. Emergency Stop Control

The front operating panel includes an emergency-stop button and separate machine controls for safer intervention during setup or operation.

10. Optional Automatic Film Cutting

Automatic film breaking or cutting can be selected as an optional configuration to reduce manual film handling after the wrapping cycle.

Main Features

Working Principle

A forklift or pallet truck places the loaded pallet in the center of the turntable. In the standard operating arrangement, the operator secures the end of the stretch film to the pallet or load and selects the required wrapping program.

The turntable rotates the pallet while the film carriage applies pre-stretched film around the lower section of the load. The carriage then travels upward along the mast, producing overlapping film layers across the sides of the palletized goods. After reaching the selected height, it can add upper reinforcing wraps and travel downward according to the programmed cycle.

When wrapping is complete, the turntable returns to the stopping position. The film is cut and secured manually unless an automatic film-cutting configuration has been selected. The wrapped pallet is then removed for storage or shipment.

Process Flow:

Pallet Loading → Film Attachment → Program Selection → Turntable Rotation → Pre-Stretch Film Feeding → Upward Wrapping → Top Reinforcement → Downward Wrapping → Cycle Completion → Film Cutting → Pallet Removal

Machine Details

1. Rotating Turntable

The turntable supports and rotates the complete palletized load. Its documented diameter is 1650 mm, with a maximum load capacity of 2000 kg.

2. Vertical Mast

The upright column supports the film-carriage lifting system and provides the vertical travel required to wrap products of different heights.

3. Pre-Stretch Film Carriage

The film carriage holds the stretch-film roll and passes the film through powered rollers before applying it to the rotating pallet.

4. Film Roll Holder

The roll-holding section positions the machine stretch film and allows it to feed continuously during upward and downward wrapping movements.

5. Double-Chain Lift Drive

The chain-driven mechanism moves the film carriage along the vertical mast, coordinating carriage height with the selected wrapping cycle.

6. Control Panel

The operator interface provides access to wrapping programs, rotation settings, film-carriage movement, wrap counts, start, stop, and emergency controls.

7. Turntable Drive System

The motor and chain-drive structure beneath the rotating platform transmit power to the turntable during the wrapping cycle.

8. Reinforced Base Frame

The machine base connects the mast and turntable, supporting the load and maintaining alignment between the rotating and vertical wrapping sections.

9. Emergency Stop Button

The emergency-stop control allows the operator to interrupt the wrapping cycle when abnormal load movement or another operating problem is observed.

10. Automatic Film Cutting System — Optional

The uploaded brochure identifies automatic film breaking as an optional technology. Its attachment, cutting, and finishing sequence must be confirmed in the final configuration.

Packaging & Shipping

The uploaded materials do not confirm the export packing method, packed dimensions, gross weight, number of packages, or delivery period. These details should be confirmed after the turntable structure, mast height, film carriage, automatic film-cutting option, and any customized components are finalized.

Before shipment, the turntable rotation, load-bearing platform, film-carriage travel, pre-stretch rollers, chain-lifting system, control panel, emergency stop, and electrical configuration should be checked against the confirmed order.

The mast, film carriage, control cabinet, and turntable components should be secured against movement and protected from moisture during transportation. Installation and unloading arrangements should consider the machine’s documented net weight and overall structural height.

The final packing method, shipping dimensions, and gross weight will be confirmed according to the selected machine configuration.

FAQ

Q1: What palletized products can this machine wrap?

The machine can wrap stable pallet loads containing cartons, bags, bottled-product cases, paper goods, plastic containers, hardware, and similar products. Final suitability depends on load weight, dimensions, center of gravity, pallet condition, and whether the goods can rotate safely without shifting.

Q2: What are the maximum pallet weight and dimensions?

The documented turntable capacity is 2000 kg, and the listed maximum pallet size is 1200 × 1200 mm. The confirmed wrapping-height range is 500–2000 mm. Loads near these limits should be evaluated for overhang, balance, and stability.

Q3: Does the machine automatically attach and cut the film?

The standard configuration should not be assumed to attach and cut the film automatically. The brochure identifies automatic film-breaking technology as optional. The required film attachment, cutting, and tail-finishing functions should be confirmed when the final configuration is ordered.

Q4: What type of stretch film is required?

The machine uses pre-stretch machine film. The brochure provides a numerical film range and recommends a value of 25, but the unit is not clearly stated. Film width, thickness, roll diameter, core size, and stretch performance should be confirmed before purchase.

Q5: What information is required before ordering?

Please provide the pallet length and width, maximum load height, total pallet weight, product type, load stability, daily pallet quantity, required wrapping layers, film specifications, local voltage, loading method, and whether automatic film cutting or other customized options are needed.
