Automatic Powder Packing Machine

This automatic powder sachet packing machine uses an auger dosing system to measure and fill dry powder products into small heat-sealed bags. It automatically completes film feeding, bag forming, measuring, filling, sealing, cutting and counting. The machine is suitable for seasoning powder, coffee powder, milk powder, drink mixes and similar free-flowing or moderately flowing powders requiring compact retail, sample or single-use packaging.
Product Overview
This machine is a fully automatic vertical form-fill-seal packaging system designed for small-dose powder products. It integrates powder storage, screw dosing, roll-film feeding, bag forming, filling, heat sealing, cutting and counting within one compact structure.
Powder is supplied from the upper hopper and measured by the auger filling mechanism. Packaging film is drawn from the roll, guided through the forming section and converted into a sachet. The measured powder is discharged into the formed bag before the sealing and cutting mechanisms complete the package.
The machine is intended for food processors, beverage-powder manufacturers, seasoning suppliers, personal-care producers and contract packaging companies. It can be configured for three-side-seal, four-side-seal or back-seal bags according to the required package structure.
The touchscreen, PLC and stepper-driven film system allow operators to adjust bag length and packaging settings. Because powder density, moisture, flowability and dust generation can affect dosing, final configuration should be confirmed through product and film testing.
Applications
This machine is suitable for dry powder products that can be conveyed and discharged through an auger dosing system. Final filling performance depends on bulk density, particle fineness, moisture content, flowability and the tendency of the powder to bridge or generate dust.
This machine is suitable for:
- Seasoning powder
- Chili powder
- Coffee powder
- Cocoa powder
- Milk powder
- Protein powder
- Instant beverage powder
- Electrolyte drink powder
- Meal replacement powder
- Sugar powder
- Flour-based premixes
- Plant extract powder
- Personal-care powder
- Non-hazardous pigment powder
- Other dry powder blends
A material test is recommended for powders with poor flowability, high moisture content, strong dust generation, high oil content or a tendency to compact and bridge.
Main Features
1. Automatic Packaging Process
The machine automatically completes bag forming, powder measuring, filling, heat sealing, cutting and counting in one continuous packaging cycle.
2. Auger Powder Dosing
The screw-based filling mechanism measures and discharges powder into each bag, making it suitable for small-dose dry powder packaging.
3. Multiple Sealing Configurations
Three-side-seal, four-side-seal and back-seal bag formats are listed as available options, subject to confirmation of the selected forming and sealing structure.
4. Touchscreen and PLC Control
The touchscreen interface and PLC system provide centralized operation and allow packaging parameters to be adjusted from the control panel.
5. Adjustable Bag Dimensions
The machine supports bag lengths from 30 to 170 mm and bag widths from 30 to 130 mm within the confirmed specification.
6. Stepper-Driven Film Feeding
The stepper motor controls film movement and bag length, supporting convenient adjustment when the required package size changes.
7. PID Temperature Control
The intelligent temperature controller uses PID regulation, with the supplied document stating that temperature deviation can be controlled within 1°C.
8. Heat-Sealing System
The sealing system is designed for heat-sealable roll films such as laminated polyethylene, polypropylene, aluminum and paper-based packaging materials.
9. Optional Batch Coding
A coding device can be added according to the project requirements for printing production dates, batch numbers or other package information.
10. Compact Vertical Design
The hopper, dosing system, film mechanism, sealing unit and controls are integrated into a vertical machine suitable for limited production-floor space.
Working Principle
Dry powder is loaded into the upper hopper and supplied to the auger dosing mechanism. The screw rotates according to the selected setting and transfers a measured quantity of powder toward the filling outlet.
At the same time, roll film is unwound and guided through the bag-forming section. The film is folded into the selected bag structure, and the lower or transverse seal is formed before filling.
The measured powder is discharged through the filling tube into the open sachet. The sealing system then applies controlled heat and pressure to close the package. The stepper motor advances the film according to the selected bag length, after which the cutting mechanism separates the finished sachet. The control system records the packaging cycle and continues the process automatically.
Process Flow:
Powder Loading → Auger Measuring → Film Feeding → Bag Forming → Powder Filling → Heat Sealing → Cutting → Counting → Sachet Discharge
Machine Details
1. Powder Hopper
The upper hopper stores the powder and supplies it to the dosing section. Product flow inside the hopper directly affects filling stability.
2. Auger Filler
The screw dosing mechanism transfers a controlled quantity of powder through the filling tube. The screw configuration should be matched to the powder characteristics and filling range.
3. Film Unwinding System
The film holder supports the packaging-film roll and feeds material toward the forming and sealing sections during continuous operation.
4. Bag-Forming Section
The forming mechanism folds the flat roll film into the required sachet shape before powder is discharged into the package.
5. Vertical Sealing Unit
For back-seal configurations, the vertical sealing mechanism closes the longitudinal film overlap to create the continuous bag tube.
6. Horizontal Sealing Unit
The horizontal sealing mechanism creates the top and bottom seals of each sachet using controlled temperature and pressure.
7. Cutting Mechanism
The cutting unit separates the sealed film into individual finished powder sachets after each packaging cycle.
8. Touchscreen Control Panel
The touchscreen allows the operator to start, stop, monitor and adjust the available packaging parameters from one interface.
9. PLC and Stepper Drive
The PLC coordinates the machine sequence, while the stepper drive controls film movement and the selected bag length.
10. Coding Device — Optional
An optional coding unit can print batch numbers, dates or other production information onto compatible packaging film.

Packaging & Shipping
The final packing method, shipping dimensions and gross weight will be confirmed according to the selected sealing format, coding option and machine configuration.
Before shipment, the machine should be checked for film feeding, auger dosing, bag forming, temperature control, sealing and cutting under the agreed test conditions. The hopper, film holder, touchscreen, filling tube and sealing components should be secured to prevent movement during transportation.
Suitable moisture protection and impact protection should be selected according to the shipping method and destination. Customers should provide the destination, voltage requirements, product samples, bag dimensions and packaging-film details before the machine configuration is finalized.
Import clearance, local taxes, destination unloading and installation arrangements should be confirmed separately under the final commercial agreement.
FAQ
Q1. What powders can this machine pack?
It can pack dry powders such as seasoning powder, coffee powder, milk powder, protein powder, chili powder and instant drink mixes. Final suitability depends on powder density, moisture, flowability and dust generation.
Q2. What is the available filling range?
The confirmed measuring range is 1–100 g, with a listed volumetric range of 3–100 ml. The actual weight corresponding to a specific volume depends on the bulk density of the powder.
Q3. Can it pack powders with poor flowability?
Poor-flowing or easily bridging powders may require a customized auger, hopper agitator or other feeding adjustment. A sample test is recommended before confirming the final machine configuration.
Q4. Which bag formats are available?
The supplied document lists three-side seal, four-side seal and back seal. The required bag type must be confirmed before production because the corresponding forming and sealing structure may differ.
Q5. What information is needed to select the machine?
Please provide the powder name, filling weight, bulk density, flowability, bag dimensions, sealing format, packaging-film structure, target speed and power supply. Product and film samples are recommended for testing.
